Grew up north of Toowoomba on the Great Diving Range. Everyday, normal kind of childhood, bmx bikes, scouts, cadets, hippy forest protester uncle and auntie, quaker godparents... you know normal.

Lived in an anarchist bookshop, played grindcore, didn't go tto uni enough. Moved States, got a mountain bike, studied audio engineering, pushed envelopes for a living, didn't go to uni enough, opened a bikeshop.

Started a family, writing a book....
